BIOME Projects

Dave has worked as a landscape architect in north Georgia since 1983. During that time he's had opportunities to design a wide variety of spaces including parks, hotels, residences, residential developments, commercial sites, and many types of public facilities.

He began his career with a large firm where he was immersed in the civil engineering side of site development, as well as landscape architecture. He continues to draw heavily on the technical aspects of site design as well as more traditional landscape architecture.

He's worked with a well known landscape architectural firm where he honed his skills on high end residential design and various types of residential developments. He also worked for Fulton County where he designed a wide variety of public facilities and had the opportunity to follow the built work for several years, gaining valuable knowledge about the durability of landscapes with varying degrees of maintenance and hard public use.

He served various roles with CAUTION and the Freedom Park Conservancy, at times serving as president of both organizations. During that time he was involved in the design and construction of Freedom Parkway and several areas of Freedom Park.

Before starting BIOME Projects, Dave worked at a firm where he designed multiple parks, hotels and public facilities. He was often the landscape architect responsible for all design disciplines, budgets, and construction administration for large projects.
